This program aims to provide customers with high-quality SiC MOSFET technology that has undergone rigorous electrical sorting and optical inspection, making it ready for back-end processing and direct die attachment.

The known-good-die approach ensures consistent electrical parameters, allowing customers to rely on repeatable performance and achieve high end-of-line yield when utilizing the technology in various equipment such as high-voltage supplies, traction inverters, and power conditioning systems. Additionally, having uniform die parameters simplifies the connection of multiple devices in high-power modules.

SiC is recognized as a powerful technology that contributes to the global drive for sustainability. SemiQ's known-good-die SiC MOSFETs offer several performance advantages, including near-constant junction capacitance, low insertion loss, and high isolation, which are essential for high-frequency applications. The KGD program is currently active and covers the entire portfolio of SemiQ's QSiC™ 1200V SiC MOSFETs, which range from 20mΩ to 80mΩ. This portfolio supports robust and efficient electrification across various industries, including automotive, eMobility, renewable energy, and industrial power, among others.

KGD devices are supplied post-singulation on a choice of carrier media, including blue tape, pre-cured UV tape, and tape and reel. This flexibility in carrier media options eases integration with customers' specific processes, enhancing convenience and compatibility.
