Review Display Systems (RDS) has introduced a new 18.5-inch TFT display module from Tianma, an industrial display manufacturer. The P-series P1850FHF1MB01 display module features Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), a wide 16:9 aspect ratio, and in-plane switching (IPS) technology, which ensures excellent optical performance.
The Tianma P-series TFT display modules are specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of industrial, medical, and in-vehicle display markets. They offer high levels of optical performance and reliable operation.
The 18.5-inch display module incorporates Tianma's proprietary SFT (Super Fine TFT) wide viewing technology, providing viewing angles of 88 degrees in all directions. It boasts a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a white LED backlight with an integrated driver and a 50,000-hour half-brightness lifetime. These features enable a brightness rating of 400cd/m², resulting in colorful, bright, and consistent display images.
Justin Coleman, displays division manager at RDS, highlighted the strong feature set of the Tianma 18.5-inch P-series display, emphasizing its excellent optical performance and ability to deliver vibrant and easily visible display images from any viewing direction. The P-series display modules are designed for human-machine interface applications that require long-term operation in demanding environments.
The display module supports a 2-channelLVDS data interface with 8-bit RGB, allowing for a color palette of up to 16.7 million colors. It has mechanical outline dimensions of 430.4mm (width) x 254.6mm (height) x 13.5mm (depth) and an active display area of 408.96mm (width) x 230.04mm (height). It also supports an extended operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C.
Tianma's Professional-series TFT display modules are suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial process control, factory automation, in-vehicle systems, instrumentation, point-of-sale systems, digital signage, and medical equipment.
